Our great client is seeking a SURGE Help Desk Technician to support a Department of Defense customer.
The customer requires communication & IT services to support its CCE (C2 systems, information management systems, mail/message systems, and security systems).
This support includes systems, networks, and telecommunication engineering & administration, information assurance, computer network defense, and web portal & application development as well as supporting electronic key management, project management, portfolio & configuration management, enterprise architecture, and knowledge & information management.
Customer mission areas include:
Information System Management Services (ISMS), Information Technology Services (ITS), Information System Administration Services (ISAS), Knowledge, Information and Application Services (KIAS), Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Services (CIAS), and Information System Support Services (ISSS).
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
Provide Command and Control, Communications and Cyber (C4) technical focal point technician; providing Tier 1 troubleshooting support, situational awareness of outages, and tracking of all incoming issues.
Field trouble calls, identify issue and create ticket, resolve or forward issue Analyze and categorize issues by identifying the type of problem and provide report trends.
Receive and process IT Service Requests, monitor incoming service requests and route to appropriate section, provide supervisor updates on IT Service Requests which are not receiving the proper attention.
Facilitate Request for Change (RFC) or Configuration Control Board (CCB) inputs in accordance with the current policies and procedures.
Requirements:
IAW DoD 8570.
01-M, must meet IAM I minimum qualifications.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility Recommended Skills Administration Application Services Communication Computer Networks Computer Security Configuration Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
